My Cookbook. Day 468.

I just sent my cookbook to the printers so I can have a hard copy to scrutinize. This project took me longer than any other I’ve done before, and although it’s imperfect, I am proud of it.

Design is hard! For example, I spent over an hour yesterday trying to figure out how to format a fraction. Yes, a fraction.

I used Adobe InDesign for this particular book, and learned enough to create something that looks a little more than elementary, but it took time. Months of working on this followed a year or so of familiarizing myself with the program.

I am no professional when it comes to design, and maybe never will be, but I feel fulfilled and accomplished.

Now, I’m off to an interview at a college for a tutoring position! Wahoooo!
