The divide between people who went to college and those who didn’t has become quite, well, dumb, and the worst part is, it was created intentionally.
Why is there such an effort to form a severe division between people? Is it politics? Insecurity? Boredom?
We all need each other, so why not try a little harder to realize that and stop putting down others because they are on the opposite end of the spectrum that was created out of unkind and unsensible intentions?
Imagine a world where we all worked together, even just a little.
Dear Teri,
(My opinion – It is Politics)…
“This” has been my intention all along, with all those personal letters I have mailed down to the White House, Congress, & the Senate…
It is up to our political leaders to “listen” to what the American people are asking of them…
Most of what “we” are asking, especially in today’s “political arena” is exactly what our parents tried to teach us when we were children; that is that “we all try to work together, and treat one another as we, ourselves, would like to be treated; (with respect, and dignity, no matter our skin color, our religion, our personal wealth, or lack thereof)…
I ask of our President, that he assemble “all” of our political leaders, from both sides of the aisle, into one very large room, with large tables, where he will have democrats and republicans mixed together in the seating…
I ask that he share his “agenda” with all of them, showing the concerns of millions of Americans, and have them all work together to offer common sense suggestions that will address very important policies that affect us all daily…
He needs to have lunch, and other refreshments brought in, and tell these politicians, that they will all be sitting there for a long time until they can show the American people that they care about them, and not special interest groups, or their own personal agendas…
I’m glad that I have not been “holding my breath”, because I have yet to hear back from any of them down in DC, with any “respectful dialog”, or “interest” in what I have had to say…
And they wonder why many Americans are so pissed off these days!!! I have a bumper sticker on my truck that says: “I grew up on a place called America”… “You would have liked it”!!! Our society is hurt, lost, and broken; it needs to be healed again, hopefully soon!!!
Love,
Uncle Lee 😦

There are so many extremely intelligent and curious people who did not have or did not take the opportunity to go to college. And quite a few people that have degrees and no common sense at all. That distinction should not divide it for sure!
